New Deal for Disabled People

NDDP is a government funded programme for people who are claiming an incapacity related benefit and who are looking to return to work and feel that they need support and guidance finding employment.

NDDP is designed to:-

• Help you find suitable work.

NDDP offers:

• Confidential one to one support and guidance on finding employment.

• Advice on benefits and how they might be affected if you start work.

• Vocational profiling.

• Agreed action plan.

• Help with job search and approaching employers.

• Help with completing c.v.'s and application forms.

• Practice with job interviews.

• You have a mental health issue.

• You are claiming benefit and are looking for work for 8 hours or more per week.
